06 Jun Spotlight on… David Hammond Photography
Choosing the right photographer for your wedding is one of the most important and possibly one of the hardest decisions you will have to make when planning your big day. There are lots of photographers out there and it can be difficult to know where to start with your search for someone who can perfectly capture all the beautiful moments of your special day.
In this fortnight’s edition of ‘Spotlight on’ we meet talented local photographer, Dave Hammond of David Hammond Photography. Dave offers an unobtrusive story-telling style of wedding photography for couples tying the knot across the South West.
Just take a peek at Dave’s gallery on his website and his beautiful collection of images speak for themselves. Dave’s style of photography is fun and timeless but with a really natural feel. He works tirelessly to document your day, capturing the moments and all those little details that tell the story of your wedding.
Dave will meet with you ahead of your wedding so that you have chance to talk through the plans for the day as well as what you’re hoping for from your wedding photos. He will also make time to visit your wedding venue in advance to scope out the best locations, making sure he takes the very best images on the day.
And after your big day, Dave will individually process, edit and tastefully enhance the images if necessary so that you have a stunning set of images to treasure and look back at for years to come.

My top tips for planning your wedding are:
No. 1 Take in every moment and enjoy it because the day will fly by so fast!

No. 3 No. 1 Book me as your photographer 🙂
What’s your favourite Dorset wedding venue?
There are so many fantastic venues – large, impressive, intimate, rustic and small – in Dorset I don’t really have a particular favourite, they all have their good points and I enjoy shooting weddings at them all.
